Jeff Johnson will make it harder for students in Minnesota to receive a high-quality education.
As a representative in the Minnesota State Legislature, Jeff Johnson voted to cut $500 million from K-12 schools, leading to larger class sizes and less funding for books and supplies for students. He also voted to cut $350 million from higher education, causing college tuition costs to increase.
Johnson voted against protecting Minnesota students from bullying in schools. And he voted against early childhood education and college and vocational training, while working to protect loopholes for big corporations and tax breaks for the wealthy few.
We need a governor who will ensure that all students receive a high quality public education, regardless of where they’re from or where they live.
