Scott Jensen Will Leave Minnesotans Behind
Scott Jensen is not listening to or looking out for Minnesota families.
In the Minnesota Senate, Jensen voted to give millions of dollars in tax breaks to the wealthiest Minnesotans and big tobacco companies at the expense of our schools and health care. And he voted to allow corporations to deny working Minnesotans a fair wage.
Scott Jensen also voted against legislation that would have raised $42 million from opioid manufacturers to prevent and treat opioid addiction.
Now, Scott Jensen wants to cut taxes for big corporations and eliminate the state income tax on the wealthy, forcing schools to cut their funding and working families to pay more than their fair share.
Minnesota’s income tax funds early childhood and K-12 education, transportation, health care, higher education, and public safety.
Scott Jensen’s tax plan will gut funding for schools and public programs that Minnesota families rely on for access to affordable health care and so much more.
Time and time again, Scott Jensen has prioritized big corporations and the wealthy over working families.
We need a leader who puts our families first and invests in our communities.
Minnesotans deserve better than Scott Jensen.
